Super Cute Teddy Bear Hoodie!

I bought a super cute teddy bear hoodie in Hong Kong.

The shop keeper wasn't friendly at all and she didn't even let us check the garments before we bought them.

In Hong Kong markets it usual for the shop keepers to give you the garment packaged, but most of them let you check the garment before buying it, for example they'll open the plastic for you and then let you touch it and examine it, but the shop keeper refused to deal with us if we wanted to check :(

The brown one fell apart straight away and one ear is bigger than another :( The pink one wasn't initially for me. I'm planning on fixing the brown one somehow even though the lining is ripped. There are no refund on markets XD

However the fashion hasn't caught on in the UK, and when I wore it out to college several people asked me why I was wearing a dress gown :/ I haven't worn it out since....

(photo linked to source) Proof that the furry hoodie is fashionable somewhere!

I thought I would share other clothes that I have been having trouble to coordinate/wear.

The peter pan dress is way too short, but I can't bring myself to sell it. I can't wear it as emphasises my hips aswell, which I don't really want. The leopard shirt is so cute :3 but do you think that the leopard print is too old and out of date/tacky?

I love the polka dot dress, but again it's simply too short and shows off my now pasty legs :p

I think I have found a solution though :3 I also have an Emily Temple Cute dress , but I can't find the right shoes for it and have no idea what to wear it with!

What do you try to emphasise/hide when your buying clothes?

I tried to emphasise my waist, by tucking in shirts/tying them. I try not to emphasise my hips and I like to hide my chest :p

In the UK it's mother's day on the 3rd of April and atm I'm knitting my mum a scarf.

I just used the fish scale pattern to knit from. It's quite simple and very rewarding, you should try it if you new to reading patterns :)

Also, I've noticed that I have been lacking in posts and commenting.I promise to be a better blogger!

What are you getting you mum for mother's day?

Never Let you Laugh

Doesn't it suck how they is alway someone to drag you down when your happy :/ ?

My outfit: Skirt/Usamimi: Handmade, Shirt/Earrings : Hong Kong, Tights: ?

I wore this outfit to college, because I was meant to be showing my handmade goods to the college, but it didn't work out, because no one knew about it/there was no one in the room. Wow what a waste of time....
I thought I would post the skirt block tutorial again :)

Snuggles

It's nice to be all snuggled up to your favourite person or book, with some snuggly covers and a cup of tea ^^ One of my resolutions was to read more.

At the moment I'm reading The Shining by Stephen King and I only have around 50 pages to go to finish it.

reading The Shining to and from last Lolita meet
It's taken me around 5 nights to read it, and I don't really find it scary. Maybe, I'm not reading/understaning it properly. I like its dark humour and style, but I'm still a bit disappointed....

I bought Choke by Chuck Palahniuk on a whim. (I'm also trying to be more sponteanous aswell)
I saw a quote from the book on The Haus of Blog (which I have been searching for 10mins EVERYWHERE becuase I couldn't stop typing and looking for the house of Bauhaus)So when I saw it for around £2 online I bought it with The Shining. Online shopping is so convient ^^ It's the same author of Fight Club aswell!

I thought I would share my mustard jumper, it's nice and baggy and extremerely baggy.

I wore this to college and got asked if I was trying to impress someone. This implies that I must dress like an utter slob on other days; I only need to wear a baggy jumper to look much better.
I love the sleeves so much! I'm not sure if the jumper is meant to give me shape or hide my shape though.
Ohwell I love it.
peekaboo!

It's uber snuggly. I also have no clue why I look so pale.
opps alot of text this post.

What do you like to snuggle up with?tea, biscuits, childhood toy etc

Last December

Hong Kong December 2010
I'm preparing for my German speaking test, which is less than 8weeks away. I'm really worried and stressed, so I thought I would look at old photos and reminisce...to calm me and to avoid work XD

Cookie and Mint Ice cream and 22nd December.
22nd December was a very important day, since people had to go back home to have dinner with their family. I think it's a really sweet tradition, and it was the first time I had celebrated it, since most of my family live in Hong Kong.

Totoro
I forgot to show you some of the pictures of a studio Ghibli exhibition on at a shopping mall, which was really cute. But, like Hello Kitty land it was nearly impossible to get a photo of yourself with the cute figures!
It was nice finding new things and exploring :)
Lucky Cats
With exploring comes buying if your in Mong Kok....
I miss buying cheap things and haggling,... I still haven't properly unpacked aswell D:

Whilst I was there,Hong Kong was really hot, but everyone still had puffer jackets and fleeces on. I felt very awkward and exposed XD

Do you have family traditions?Sunday dinners or Friday night dinner?
I wish I didn't live so far away from my relatives.
