Spider Blouse Reworked

This was my first 'lolita' blouse. It was perfect at the time, but then I realised it was ita lolita.

I think everyone goes through an ita phase when first starting Lolita though :) It's a learning curve! I didn't want my first blouse to go to waste so I decided just change it! I wanted to get rid of the raschel lace and the silly long sleeves.

It was nerve wrecking to cut it up since it was £30 at the time.

Before and After.
It felt good though and it was a nice feeling to know I saved my ita blouse XD
Make do and mend :p

I wore the blouse out at the last Lolita meet with pride! XD

Do you have clothes in your wardrobe your embarrassed about?

  25. I have way too many pieces of clothing I'm ashamed about...Some of them I can still use for dress up ideas, so I never toss them...;~;

  26. Oh trust me, there are things in my closet that I've donated or thrown away due to embarrassment!!! (what do you know, there's another donation pick up this week, more room for new clothes!) but I love the idea of vintage shopping! (I've yet to go =( ) one mans garbage is another mans treasure! The blouse you remade was lovely anyways! There was a time when I was huge into anime but never dressed up or cosplayed because I couldn't sew lol
