Old Sews

I lost my mojo, so I thought looking at my older work would motivate me. Most of the photos were from when I had around 10 followers. I need to start sewing properly again!

My first head dress 2008?

Winter 2008
I don't have this any long it feel apart and was way too short :p
My German Exchange bought me some nice fabric, and I do need a Qi pao....Maybe I'll make another ^^

Autumn 2008
I used to hate bows, then I became obsessed... I'm kind of sick making them now....

2008?
My first corset and proper sewing project. I still have it and I love it. It used to be my blogger picture aswell :)

2009
Cardcaptors Cosplay. Making this was so much fun :3 I find cosplaying too hard though :(

2009 - Sailor Skirt
The fabric didn't last very long so I threw it out last Summer. I adored it though :3

2009.
I love this! I forgot where I have put it T_T I need to find it.
What have you lost your passion for?
I used to be OBSSESSED with Green Day and I was really passionate about music. And you?

Soo cool to know the story of the things you did!

I used to write songs, but completely stopped...the same with writing short stories even if I always think I'll start again. I hope I'll never stop drawing Q_Q

I love that coat you sewed and I find the corset and Cardcaptor Sakura cosplay outfit very impressive...

I used to be really passionate about dressing in more of the harajuku style and into all the Japanese stuff, but now I'm really into high end fashion...I also used to knit a lot and now I find it a hassle...

I love that Chinese dress you made. Definitely not too short. Will look good to walk around in during Summer. And that striped skirt is so cute. :-)

I guess I've lost my passion for reading. I want to pick it up again this Summer.
Hope your results were good :D
It's Fran (newcastle loli) .__.

You are super talented! You shouldn't stop your passion for it. I am not the best at sewing, but I wish I had someone to show me how to get better.

I once had a passion for drawing, but I lost it. The only time I draw now is when I'm sick. It keeps my mind off of the sickness and gives me an escape.

Currently, I am a photographer and have a strong passion for photography!

I enjoyed your post and will definitely follow.

Oh I love all these photos of things you've made. Some of the things must have taken you so long to make!

I used to be FAR more creative than I am now, for example I used to make all my own jewellery. I was always keen with art but stopped painting after I finished A level art, so that's something I should take up again. I still have lots of blank canvas's.

srsly, the jump from GCSE science to AS science is so big (did biology last year and just about failed, ahaa) and it's somewhat ruined it for me now...

I don't know how your apprentice selection process worked, but my uni application, tutor references and previous grades is what the unis rely and base their decisions on. I don't even have a chance to have a face-to-face interview with anyone relating to the department which is incredibly annoying because I feel that I could've sold myself better in a conversation than on a piece of paper...
Have you found any alternative opportunities?

Anyways, thanks! Hope you aren't feeling too bad about your results. But from the sounds of your comment, you seem all right :D

I *still* remember reading these blog posts in Year 7,8 and 9 thinking, "OMG, its that girl from school!"
I used to always see you in school and used to think you were cool because of the clips in your hair and your bag (This was before i knew you properly and before seeing your blog) But they are cute creations.

I think I gave up anime and drawing ages ago, since I didn't learn it properly. XD

I've lost my sewing mojo too! x_x It's the worst feeling, isn't it? I did draft a new pattern the other day so I think I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things...

I hope you get inspired to make something new soon! I love the stuff you make :D
