Dr Scholl Slimming Tights Review

So when I was in HK I bought some slimming tights, I know I have slim thighs, but my calves are sometimes too big for boots and stretches out cute prints on knee socks, so I thought I would give it a try.

Dr Scholl Tights

I had seen them in 2010 when I went back to Hong Kong for a wedding (this post), they price has increased since I last saw them, but it was cheaper than buying it online. It was around £25 (320HKD)

Before

Before Measurements (taken stood up)
Hips: 94.5cm
Top of Thighs: 54.5cm
Mid Thigh:47.5cm
Above Knee: 36cm
Calve: 33.5cm
Ankle: 21cm
after (sorry my legs actually look bigger)

After Measurements (taken stood up)
Hips: 92.5cm
Top of Thighs: 54cm
Mid Thigh:47cm
Above Knee: 36cm
Calve: 33cm
Ankle: 21cm

I also wore them after my half marathon, and they helped my legs recover, they stopped aching after wearing them for two nights. I think they are great for aching legs, but I was really disappointed in the 'slimming effect', I was hoping to lose at least 1cm in the calves.

VERDICT
great for aching legs, but except significant results.

BUY AGAIN
If I continue running.

Have you tried slimming products before?

  1. I had no idea Dr Scholl made these! But hey, I really think you don't need them! I can't believe some boots feel tight on your slim legs! You look so skinny!

Have a wonderful weekend, Grace! ;D

    Hugs!

  2. I've only tried control top tights which did work well, but I've not tried these tights before. I'm not a runner so I probably won't use them, but you've got lovely legs! xxx

  4. I haven't tried slimming products before, but I always thought a corset would be fun to try out. It's a shame they didn't work too well, since they were pretty pricey.

  5. I've seen this around for a while too and have always been a bit sceptical about it's effects. Good that you found some alternative uses for it - particular to aid aching legs after running!

  6. I actually want to get something similar for long haul flights... but the slimming effects sounds really intriging - they are quite popular in Japan I might just have to try it out!

  9. I don't trust anything that don't imply an effort to get slimmer, because I think it won't work. I think it's only in my mind tough.
    You have beautiful legs!!!
