Circle Lenses Mini Review

Just a quick post!I've finally managed to put on my lenses! I bought them last summer, but I couldn't get them in:(
can you see a difference?
I tried again and it was just as difficult, but after watching Calia's YT vid, it gave me more confidence to keep trying.

They are a pretty colour ^^

I bought the Violet version of the wind series via Calia Yang from Kiwiberry1

Swollen Eye
My eyes became swollen/sore for a little bit, and it was quite uncomfortable for the first 20mintues.

With Flash

They took me around 20minutes to get in. Walking and watching TV was fine, but when I was playing on the laptop I started getting headaches so I took them out. Taking them out caused me alot of distress, because it took me around 20mins to get them out XD
Overall I think they are a nice colour, but I'm still not convinced by them, maybe they are just not for me. Sorry for not wearing make up aswell XD I wore them for 3hours before getting headaches, however my mum used to get headaches whilst wearing contacts, so maybe it's hereditary. Don't take my word for it since I had to resit Biology D:

Before/ After
My fringe was getting too long so I cut it myself. It's wonky, but I think it's reasonably okay XD
Do you cut your own fringe do you have any tips?

Are you a contact lense newbie?

wow darling.. that really isn't good for your eyes!

You should be able to put in your contacts immediately.. if it takes more time the contacts get dryer and every time you try to put them in (and touch them with your fingers) they are getting more dirty with more bacteria!
Also if you need 20 min to take them out you are also irritating your eyes a lot!

So yeah.. ehm the only tip I can give you is to try to open your eyes as fas as you can and not to blink! So don't be scared ;)
If you do that putting eyecontacts in is very easy :)

Heya hun, I'm saying becareful ok!
Because last summer was a long time ago lol, you're going to have to chuck them soon TT^TT
My advice is that you should buy some contact lense eyedrops!
I have some Japanese one, i can also buy you it here if you want! It just helps not dry out the contact so it smoothly goes in!
Also if you're a beginner try normal size lenses and no bigger than 14mm to start off with.

Also make sure you have good quality lenses, buy them and make sure theyre not fake! If you're going to put something in your eye, make sure it's of good quality.

I've had some terrible lenses too! Though after some time, i found lots of very comfortable lenses! Check out Pinkyparadise.com
They have lots to choose from also cosmetics too!
Hope this helped!!! xx

Your lensens really have a nice colour!!! My aunt bought me violet lenses (normal size) some years ago, but I never used them. They went to waste ;_; But I was scared by using lenses. Actually now I do...

I want to cut my fringe by myself too, but I'm scared I'll do a mess :(

Oh the first time I put in and took out lenses it took so long also, it was really upsetting actually. It just takes practice to get them in quickly. I think those ones are very pretty and suit you nicely.

I've been wearing circle lenses for months now, albeit not regularly. and its so funny you mentioned, when I wore my GEO lens, I could practically whatever I can with it, but whenever I wear the Barbie ones I get so dizzy when Im using the computer ._. so weird! and i think the lenses suits you well <3

Yay! Glad you got them in :D
I wear contacts on a daily basis, so if I bought Circle Lenses I should hope not to have too many problems, you look really pretty!
If they get too irritating, you might need to buy some drops, hehe I do when mine get irritating. But usually the best thing is just to take them out and let them soak in Soloution!
Where did you buy these? :3

Katie said...

Oh silly me!
You mentioned it :D

Oh wow, your eyes look super! Such a lovely colour ^_^
I also cut my own fringe and I swear I never get it dead on straight.
I bought myself some proper hair scissors a few years agao and they do the job much better than normal ones.

I love your hair <3
And those lenses are so cooooool!!

They're bad for your eyes?

on the fringe, I think cut it when it's dry and not styled?

aww .. very cute <3

ah well.. when you want to get them out.. they are actually supposed to be a little dry.
Not wet (so when you start tearing it is more difficult to get them out) but also nog very dry (then they stick to you eye).

When getting them out.. also open your eye, so that your eyelids don't cover you lens (it's best to open you eyes with your fingers) and don't "grab" (don't push too hard) but push the sides like you would use your fingers to pinch somebody.

so yeah.. I hope it helps :)

but you know.. it also could be that they are not such good quality. I mean swollen eyes sound really bad :(

ooh i like the color a lot! i know what you meen. b4 it took me forever to put on lenses. but now its so easy cuz i got annoyed at myself n just did it. lol if that make sense. i used to take forever but when upset i just put it in. taking it out is easy. just use your knuckles. but it can be scary putting your fist near your eye. its nice having pics with no makeup once in a while too!

I eat too much and spend too much on food too! Have to start controlling myself more...I'm putting on weight!

Hope you'll find more confortable lenses...

aww I love purple, and circle lens makes your eyes look so big. btw the bang looks great on you ;)

I've been wearing contact lenses since I was 16. That's a LONG time! It really does get easier. I think when I first tried them, I had a schedule. I'd wear them for so many minutes, then let my eyes rest, then wear them again... Now it's second nature. I wear brown ones to change my natural color of a boring greenish-blue.

steph said...

i totally love your bangs in the 'flash'-picture where they're a bit messy ^__^ looks so cuteee!!!

on my first try i needed like 30 minutes just to put one lens in! my mistake was that i was using like really huge ones instead of just the regular ones... so stupid, right?

i also figured out that when you start wearing them they feel so weird but if you wear them regularly then you get used to it really quickly. now i don't feel my lenses at all. eyedrops can also help if your eyes feel dry when wearing them.

still, if your eyes get all sore and swollen or if you're getting dizzy you should be careful..make sure you carry the lenscase and some lens solution with you when you wear them, so that you can take them out anytime!!

sorry for the rambling lol!
take care n___n

Those blue contacts make you look real cool haha. Fringe cut + blue contacts = Classy look, it's a great fit.

I've been using contacts for a long time, it'll get easier as time goes by. You just want to be careful with how long you keep them in. I had a friend who slept with them in and the dryness caused a vein in her eye to burst...

What a nice color! But hy, be careful wearing lenses if they're so hard for you to put on and take off; you don't wanna hurt your eyes ;).

Hug!

Miki.

I've tried contacts before and my doctor told me contacts were meant for me because I couldn't get them in. I can get it in my right eye, but never my left eye! So annoying! It makes me feel better that I'm not the only person who has trouble with contacts...^-^♥

Audrey said...

*were not meant

20 minutes--wow! i'm not a big fan of circle lenses, but i do like the color. but your natural eyes are great too.

i think the purple looks nice!

erm i cut my fringe by layers..
with the sequence goes...
innermost layer, middle layer and outmost layer

find that it's safer that way =D

Hunny you don't need makeup! I have the same problem with contact lenses :( I think because of my small eyes.

The colour you used suits you! You did a good job with your fringe, I normally cut my own side fringe with a razor blade, so it gives it a more natural finish! :)

Awww man :( I'm in the same exact position as you except you can actually put them in now! I'm so happy for you! Even if the experience was so of bad. D:

Hopefully your eyes will get use to them after putting them on a couple of more times.

I don't like contacts BECAUSE of the putting them in process and then staying with them on and then ... taking them off. :\ I've never owned contacts/ circle lenses and I would love to but the discomfort gets in the way. XDD

I wear contacts (but not circle lenses) and I found it hard to put them in at first but it becomes easier. Either way I don't like to wear them for long because they make my eyes ache after more than 8 hrs! But I want to buy some prescription coloured contacts when I'm in hk!

Oh, that's unfortunate that you had so much trouble putting the lenses in and taking them out! I wonder why they gave you headaches?
I hope that future lenses won't cause you so much grief (if you do intend on venturing into more)!
The ones you have are a lovely purple~ And I can definitely see a difference!

I tried coloured contacts and they hurt my eyes so I didn't bother with them :( Rubbish.
I also cut my own fringe. Get some good scissors from ebay and if you think it's a bit wonky then slice upwards to almost layer it a bit afterwards to soften it :) You did a fab job though! xxxx

Sher said...

I always cut my own fringe but I've not tips lol! I just try to cut it in a straight line:P

I've wanted to try out these lenses but I'm a wuss. I'm scared of pain!
