Sailor Go Go!

Rememer my Sailor Scarf? Well to finished my Sailor outfit I had to sew a skirt. I thought I would show you my progress photos.

My beloved sewing machine has an over light for its light now XD

Ahh ruffles; you'll be the death of me.I want to make the skirt in some many different colours, but it took me 4 days to make this.

The finshed product! It's shiny becuase it's polycotton :( The shops had no red cotton :(I crocheted some cherries to sell too :)
Sorry I haven't been online for nearly a week D:

Do you like the progress photos? What would you like to see made?
I think I like watching things be taken apart than made though... XD

Dunno...maybe the tutorials I like most are about clothes alterations, because they are simple but sometimes really cool.

It's based on the putumayo skirt you made earlier, right? To bad about the cotton, but it's not satin at least! ;D

The cherries are really cool! Hm, I don't know what I'd like to see made.... Maybe a dress with step for step tutorial! ;D

That is such a cute skirt :) I wish I had a sewing machine :P and of course that I could sew. My grandmother was such a great sewer! She could make everything. But sadly she became ill and died. I could have learned so much of her.
But, I love to see how you make things, and I think the skirt is super adorable!

And yes, I like progress photo's as well! It's always interesting. If you see people wearing selfmade things, I always wonder how they made it ^-^ It's always nice to find it back on their blog :)
