Hosting An Exchange

It's been so long since I've been on Blogger! I'm so sorry! I had my exchange partner over for 8 days and then straight after that I went to London and then Germany for another week! I'm really excited to show you my photos and share my experiences ^_^ So I'll start at the beginning of my adventures :3

My exchange partner arrived around 10pm at night, so we didn't do much on the 1st night.

On the 2nd night I showed her around my home town, she was surprised about the amusements and the dance machines, and then I tookd her to a typical British pub, where my friends drank alot.

Day 3

We took the train to York and spent the day there.

We went to a great Cocktail Bar called Evil Eye, there was an annoying queue, but it was a nice atmosphere.

There I realised that I really can't handle alcohol. I felt quite drunk after one cocktail, and I only drank the cocktail, because it was called Hello Sailor XD

The train home was so noisy, and drunk people kept trying to take photos of us :/

Day 4

My exchange partner went rollerskating, whilst I went to my Mandirin class.

 Day 5

We went ice skating, I fell over so many times, my back still hurts after 2 weeks!

Day 6 & 7 we went to a BBQ and a meal with my college, I didn't take any photos :(

Day 8 - Last day

We went a friend's farm and took some photos of the cows and then to the beach for a BBQ.

Where my partner lives, it's hard to photograph farm animals, so I think she was pleased to get this chance:) She takes her photography quite seriously! You should visit her Facebook Page

At the beach, someone had knitted a scarf and put it on the pier, no one knows who put it there though! I thought it was very cute ^_^ It must have taken them a long time!

I really hope my exchange partner had a great time and enjoyed the UK!

Have you ever been on an exchange program?
This was my 2nd exchange program. Sorry for the very big post!

That cocktail looks goooooood ;) haha I'm glad you guys had so much fun.

The closest thing I had to an exchange program was when I went to Vietnam for a week to visit my family. It was one hell of an experience.
