I celebrated Halloween for my 1st time yesterday.

I had to read several German Fairytales, and luckily I read Rotkäppchen before the weekend.

I can't believe I somehow managed to read them in German...

 I've found time to craft and experiment, I just cram my homework as soon as I get it, but I still have a heavy workload. In the past two weeks, I've made a pleated tartan skirt and a tartan mixed cape, both without a pattern. I've learnt how to apply make up alot faster now too :)

Sheer Delight

I haven't really done much over the summer, just gotten addicted to knitting. I'm currently knitting a jumper, which I first despised, but now I'm growing to love.

Sailor Stockings

Mr Nice Guy got me some nice stockings too, I'm just thinking how to co-ordinate them now :) Thank you Mr Nice Guy =^_^=

I wanna knit alot more jumpers, but the current one has been such a bitch to knit! I knitting it on the wrong needles, then the wrong tension, and then the yarn kept breaking :(, hopefully I'll have it finished very soon though.

Also ran 6miles/9.5km with Mr Nice Guy yesterday ^_^

Fix Me

I'm so happy to have time to myself, I've vowed to make this Summer very productive and crafty :) 

I started by fixing my clothes 2 shirts and a dress.

Matching threads

My favourite shirt from Algonquins got wrecked at The Wombats 2011, someone stuck gum on my sleeve :( and I couldn't get it out.

The stain looks like ovaries...

I'm not a fan of sleeveless tops, so I tried to cover it up.

I succeeded! the patch is made out of cotton, I forgot how to sew with jersey and over stretched some parts, but they aren't very noticeable.

I'm really happy with the result. I think I might try making more patches, and I really need to practice machine embroidery. The other fixes were just sewing up holes and rips :p

Batman pencil case

I'm trying to shrink my fabric pile, it's currently going very slowing. I made a Batman Pencil Case for Charlotte. She loves Batman? (I'm pretty sure it's love) Just a little thanks for her being patient with me when teaching me how to swim ^_^

Lining and detailing

I had to hand sew the zip, OMG my hand sewing is atrocious, I need to practice that too...

I'm currently knitting a jumper, I never finished my teacher's jumper :(

I 'm not sure if I like the colour effect, and I really wanted a see through jumper as slutty as that sounds lol.

I found some  sheer fabrics, which I can't wait to play with aswell ^_^ 

What do you do with broken clothes?

I normally reuse the zips, buttons and then use the rest as scarps and remake it or fix it, I hate throwing clothes and material away. Maybe I'm just cheap XD

Christmas, birthdays and Valentines day could be spread out a bit more, but I'm not complaining (much) n_n

Thank you for the birthday wishes too! I haven't been out 'clubbing' in England yet, I'm really nervous too! I got a very cute bag for my birthday from Mr Nice Guy that I have to share.

Tada! It was a night project, I cut the legs into strips and sewed together, I kept the flier in place so it was nice and easy, I have to belt it up though, it's quite baggy on me XD

I went to a casual meet last weekend too.

It was nice to catch up with friends and rock out my frills. I've found my love for pastel colours again. I want to try Fairy-Kei *sigh* another fashion to add to the list :p

Lolita and blogging isn't as big part of my life as much as it was and as much I would like it to be. The new year hasn't started at all great, but things can only get better right?

College Life

Sucks :(
My new time table features *drumrolls*13 hours of maths and only 4 hours of German a week!

Commissions have been keeping me busy aswell and so has the gym!

A new takeaway is opening nearby and I embroidered the takeaway's name on to their aprons ^_^ It feels weird getting commissioned for machine embroidery.

This Sunday I'm starting a Mandarin course with Mr Nice Guy ^^ Hopefully we can sit the GCSE Chinese at the end of the summer!

He bought me a notebook for our lessons together ^^ I used some GLB stickers on it :)
I'm hoping to study Chinese Mandarin and German at university for four years. I'm currently looking at universities and struggling with my personal statement!


Journeys to college are long so I decided to start knitting a circle scarf, I'm currently unravelling another scarf to make it though XD It was my dads but he doesn't use it :(

I found a pin cushion a sewn years and years ago! so cute :3 and dusty XD

I love afternoon projects.

I made a couple of detachable collars.

I got the pattern from The Owls Aren't What They Seem, they are simple and quick and they spruce up any outfit :3
