I've A License to Thrill

Hong Kong was always so ridiculously hot. It even went up to 36 degrees at one point. I had problems with immigration for the first few days (had to queue up at the government office at 6.30am), and then my mum fell sick after or several days, but it was an experience.

I did alot of shopping though.

Sasa in Sheung Shui

I spent alot of time in Mong Kok. I thought I would show you my outfits. I didn't take many outfit photos :(

awkward

Outfit: Shoes/Top/Vest/Bag: Hong Kong, Shorts: Marks and Spencer

outfit: everything bought in HK

Outfit: Vest/bag: Hong Kong, Skirt: Marks and Spencers

I really love my hair in high buns, but I got my hair cut, seriously never going to get my hair cut again when there is a language barrier. I wanted a trim just a cm or 2 off and he took around 7cm off :/ and then thinned my hair, I hate my hair being thinned out. I want my hair back to this length. I was really upset, he had caught my ear piercing aswell in his comb and tugged on it really hard when it was freshly pierced. It was honestly the worst experience.

Outfit: everything from Hong Kong.

I'm an XL in HK clothing. It's kinda depressing since I fit most M clothes in UK. It was kinda a shock when shop keepers would exclaim why am I looking at such small clothes for myself... whilst I was over there I had lost weight too.

I was really happy to go back to Hui Lan Shan and have my favourite Watermelon and Aloe drink.
I alos bought some awesome shoes.

So the past couple of days have been quite eventful and hectic. I moved into my flat for university, and I flew back from Hong Kong by myself.

did you guys miss me :p?

Chaos

Sorry for absence, once again. I've learnt alot in the past week. I'm finally myself, I'm not a silly little girl anymore. I'm going to embrace having no control.

ahem.
I literally screamed when I found out I had been accepted to Leeds University (my 1st choice), A in German, A* in Maths and a C in Further Maths. The exact grades I needed, I was so happy. I move very soon.

choker love ♥

I've been buying some cute new things, and getting rid of the old 'me', and unwanted memories. I need more chokers.

fat lip

I partied hard from getting the results, it was the happiest day/night of my life.

Top: DIY, Skirt: handmade, Badge: Camden

I finally bought a cute sailor jacket.

Last December

Hong Kong December 2010
I'm preparing for my German speaking test, which is less than 8weeks away. I'm really worried and stressed, so I thought I would look at old photos and reminisce...to calm me and to avoid work XD

Cookie and Mint Ice cream and 22nd December.
22nd December was a very important day, since people had to go back home to have dinner with their family. I think it's a really sweet tradition, and it was the first time I had celebrated it, since most of my family live in Hong Kong.

Totoro
I forgot to show you some of the pictures of a studio Ghibli exhibition on at a shopping mall, which was really cute. But, like Hello Kitty land it was nearly impossible to get a photo of yourself with the cute figures!
It was nice finding new things and exploring :)
Lucky Cats
With exploring comes buying if your in Mong Kok....
I miss buying cheap things and haggling,... I still haven't properly unpacked aswell D:

Whilst I was there,Hong Kong was really hot, but everyone still had puffer jackets and fleeces on. I felt very awkward and exposed XD

Do you have family traditions?Sunday dinners or Friday night dinner?
I wish I didn't live so far away from my relatives.
