Polka Dot Mini

I have alot of time to sew now, and I really want to use up my fabric pile so I have an excuse to buy more fabric!

Tshirt; gifted and revamped, Bow Necklace; gifted, Skirt; Handmade

Before and After
I cut the neck and sleeves and then simple used bias binding to finish instead of hemming. I hope he doesn't mind I cut up his gift....

Detail shots
I made a skirt aswell, with new block pattern I drafted. I haven't drafted a skirt pattern in a while so it was a shock to find out there is a around 11-12 inch difference between my waist and my hips, which I thought was quite a big difference but apparently I'm healthy and fertile according to my waist to hip ratio, which you can find out here.

blurry arms!
I used an open end zip and cut the fabric on the bias so it was stretchy, although I forget I suck with stretchy fabric so my zip doesn't sit right and I have to lift up my skirt when I sit down so it doesn't look like I have a penis....

The scooped back shows my excema, which has worsened, but oh well if people don't like it they don't have to look. I shouldn't feel ashamed because of my scars and skin condition.

What's your waist to hip ratio?

mine is 0.71

Jesus, I love this T-shirt, really crazy about it and the T-skirt, so wow! Currently I'm doing a shirt too inspired by Key from SHINee (This one which He wore in Paris).

ps. I totally know what you mean about yoga ... a class really is necessary for me to. I mean, I know that I could practice at home but I just don't. How funny ... I take my classes through our local community center too! {just can beat the prices}

Great works, in particular the t-shirt!!! Uhm I really hate when zippers look like penis...it always happens with long sweaters -.-
I don't wanna know my hip ratio, I really have a big difference between hips and waist ^^'
Your back is ok, don't worry!

was here...you look great in your dress.
beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. you don't have to care how you look like bcoz it's the inside that matters.

but sad to say that people these days looks at your appearance before they realize how bad you are :(
so sometimes i also needa sacrifice myself for some new clothes.

Wow you really made the shirt look so much better! My hip ratio is not but not good either, I wonder if its my hips are too small or my waist is too big :/ haha!

Very nice that you actually shared your findings on your hipVSwaist ratio with us. Shows you have self respecct. Also taking a shirt and making it your own style is so cool! I usually just go with the stock shirt pattern. haha. And lastly I'm glad your going to fix the skirt to avoid penis confusion.
